Overview

Updated · Reviewed by the AppDesign360 engineering team

AppDesign360 designs, develops, and supports custom business software for companies across the United States and Canada. We begin with the workflow, users, and cost of the problem, then scope a useful first release: a client portal, booking and operations system, internal dashboard, approval process, or integration between existing tools. Based in Teaneck, NJ and Queens, NY, with remote delivery and local meetings by appointment.

Your staff should not have to copy the same information across spreadsheets, email, and several systems. We map the workflow with the people doing the work, identify where a focused tool or integration would help, and design the smallest useful first release.

Some projects need a client portal; others need an approval screen, a reliable data import, or an integration with software you already use. Subscription billing and multi-tenant architecture are included only when the business model needs them.

We agree the scope, budget, milestones, access rules, and handover before implementation. Your business owns the code and accounts, and can choose ongoing support after release.

A practical path from workflow problem to working software

  • Design with your users. Map tasks and test a prototype with staff or clients before committing to the build.
  • Connect what you already use. Assess existing systems and APIs before recommending replacements.
  • Release in useful stages. Define an initial workflow, acceptance criteria, migration needs, and staff onboarding.
  • Plan for operations. Permissions, backups, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and support belong in the proposal.

Business software we can scope

The first release is scoped around your actual process. Not every project needs every capability.

Client and partner portals

Requests, documents, progress updates, invoices, and account-specific information in one place.

Booking and operations

Scheduling, job handoffs, staff assignments, inventory or service records, and notifications.

Approvals and internal tools

Quote approvals, task queues, data review, audit trails, and role-based dashboards.

Integrations and reporting

Connect CRM, accounting, payment, and operational systems; plan data migration and error handling.

Design, development, DevOps, hosting management, performance/scaling, and ongoing support labor starts at $20/hour in USD. Fixed projects are quoted individually. Discovery and implementation are scoped separately where needed; the proposal confirms the applicable role, rate, hours or fixed fee, coverage, milestones, and reporting. Cloud hosting, domains, software subscriptions, and other provider charges are separate and billed through your own accounts.

Support and handover

Agree maintenance, incident response, updates, training, and future changes in the proposal. For existing systems we begin with a review so the handover and responsibilities are clear.
